Green Cloud Nine is a sustainability-focused NGO working to make sustainable living more accessible through practical information, digital content, education and carefully selected products and resources.

As a Graphic Design Intern, you’ll Bring your creativity to Green Cloud Nine and help us turn ideas into engaging visual content. You’ll work across digital communications, social media, website and campaign materials, gaining hands-on experience in a growing NGO focused on sustainability and social impact.

Your tasks

 

  • Develop and deliver innovative graphic design for brand projects across digital (website, social media, email) and print (brochures, guides).
  • Maintain brand consistency across customer touchpoints and act as brand guardian across all channels.
  • Translate creative briefs into compelling commercial design solutions with attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with marketing, communications, and cross-functional teams on multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Support fellow team members with creative expertise and technical design skills.
  • Research design trends, tools, and emerging tech to inform internal teams and stakeholders.

Your profile

  • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential; additional languages are a plus.
  • Degree in Design, Advertising, or Communication Design, with strong typography and layout expertise.
  • Proven portfolio demonstrating design process, systems thinking, and execution across retail, print, and digital formats.
  • Ability to interpret brand guidelines and translate them into modern digital and print assets.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop); experience with Figma, After Effects, or video editing is desirable.
  • Strong communication, creative thinking, visual hierarchy, and color theory skills.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, navigate ambiguity, and work autonomously.
  • High attention to detail, strong organization, and project management capabilities.
  • Passion for sustainability and environmental protection.

Internship details

Duration: Preferably 6 months or longer
Working hours: Part-time, approximately 20 hours/week
Location: 100% remote
Start: Immediately
Compensation: Unpaid
Preferred: University-mandatory internships
